Wolves howl to call to their pack. They are endangered almost to extinction and yet the benefits they supply to forests and eco systems is well documented. Wolves are the largest members of the dog family and it is said that all dogs originally came from the wolf family. Wolves hardly ever attack humans. Wolves can travel up to 120 km a day to hunt and hunt in packs. All of the wolves in a pack take care of the pups, hence the fact that the wolf is known as indicating that we are fully supported and not alone.
